Let the charm work
Toulemonde Bochart continues her creative research, under the artistic direction of Florence Bourel.
She worked to restructure the brand's entire offering, combining internal research and
the work of partner designers. For the first step in this process, the Studio, real
trend laboratory, reveals the main lines of tomorrow's collections. Without being in revolution
permanent, new products always go further in experimenting with techniques and
compositions. The developments are part of a more qualitative expression, using materials
more sophisticated, for very “couture” rugs. This research on false plains in gradients,
association of fine, shiny materials and felted threads for worked contrasts are found
on Persia or Duo, but the strength of the design remains the key word of these new creations. Ripples
enveloping for Océane, playful and split coloring for Stabile, gold veining on an ecru background
with Ambre, and above all the kaleidoscope effect of the Ipanéma carpet which is displayed in a festive colorama.
This work will continue over the following seasons, in order to provide diversity and choice while respecting the
core brand values.
Collaboration with recognized designers continues, in research on both form and
on textures. This is how Réda Amalou and Samuel Accoceberry structure the space of their
asymmetrical compositions. Vincent Darre offers new watercolors, inspired by his travels.
